The Wellness Company Product Philosophy
Our wellness products are natural, safe, and more effective than national brands. Through our referral program, The Wellness Company grows by word of mouth, not expensive advertising campaigns. This means we can invest more in research and development; we employ a team of scientists dedicated to creating superior products, and when they receive the resources they need, they’re able to create wellness solutions that are inspired by nature and backed by science. The Wellness Company seeks to create innovative products, and we do this in part by adhering to a strict product philosophy.
Whether for existing products or brand-new solutions, product development at The Wellness Company is guided by our strict product philosophy. From research to design to the actual manufacturing, we adhere to these seven guidelines:
- Our products must align with our mission to enhance lives and improving the overall well-being of our customers.
- Our products must be unique and superior to the products of competitors. Our formulas should be innovative—inspired by nature, backed by scientific research.
- Some formulas are regulated by the government, particularly medicines. In these cases in which we can’t later the formula itself, the product must have superior pricing while still meeting our quality standards.
- The Wellness Company uses high-quality ingredients. Though these ingredients can be more expensive, our products must still have reasonable and competitive pricing because we believe that all consumers have the right to access quality wellness solutions.
- At The Wellness Company, our products are not based on but on changing social tides but on real, sustained demand and thoroughly researched ingredients.
- Whenever possible, we safeguard our products and investments with patents and trade secrets.
- Whenever possible, we seek to maintain control over our manufacturing and supply chain, and we prioritize developing our solutions in-house.
This product philosophy has enabled The Wellness Company to produce safe, high-quality products at affordable prices. Some of our most popular products include the Peak Performance Nutrition Pack, MelaPower Laundry Detergent, Renew Lotion, FiberWise Drink, and our lineup of Sei Bella cosmetics.

An American Company
For 40 years, The Wellness Company has been manufacturing safe and natural formulations right here in the United States. Our call centers are located in our home state of Idaho, and we have distribution centers in Knoxville and Kansas City. We are proud to support American manufacturing and American workers.
The Wellness Company also supports America’s heroes: veterans and service members, first responders, and our great Founding Fathers. Whether we’re equipping deputy sheriffs with better armor, taking veterans on an all-expenses-paid trip to the nation’s capital, sponsoring Red Cross vehicles, or putting on the largest fireworks show west of the Mississippi River, Melaleuca: The Wellness Company honors America’s heroes.
Our Philanthropy
The Wellness Company also spreads wellness and enhances lives through its charitable arm, the Melaleuca Foundation, founded in 2001 after the September 11 attacks. Its very first philanthropic effort raised more than $800,000 to families and individuals affected by the terror attacks.
But that was only the beginning. Since that time, the Melaleuca Foundation has been helping people who fall on hard times and cannot help themselves. We have donated millions of products and dollars and thousands of tons of food, and we have provided supplies and additional resources to people around the world.
- By truck, plane, and even cargo ship, we have donated food, products, supplies, and cash to victims of many natural disasters, including Hurricane Katrina, Hurricane Helene, the 2023 Maui wildfires, and the 2025 Los Angeles wildfires.
- We continually to food banks and other similar nonprofits, including Red Cross shelters, the Salvation Army, and local food banks. In 2024, we donated more than 24,000 pounds of beef to the Idaho Foodbank, which distributed the donation to hungry families across our home state. And employees at Melaleuca: The Wellness Company have donated their time on multiple occasions to help food banks sort food, ensuring that it reaches hungry community members sooner.
- During the initial months the Russian invasion of Ukraine, we donated $12,000 worth of products, including first aid supplies, on a military plane to Ukrainians in need. With little time before the plane was scheduled to leave, we also gathered medical supplies from our local hospitals to send with the donation. Later, Melaleuca of Germany donated more than $235,000 worth of wellness products to nonprofits in or near Ukraine to further help refugees.
- In 2024, we began partnering with Therapies for Hope, a nonprofit that helps children with developmental disabilities in underserved communities. Through intense, focused programs that are incredibly effective, Therapies for Hope helps these children overcome their challenges. Between 2024 and 2025, we donated $20,000 to Therapies for Hope, helping to ensure that underserved children with disabilities get the resources and care they deserve in order to thrive.
- Since 2007, our signature charitable cause has been the Santa Lucia Children’s Home, a unique orphanage where children often arrive broken but leave with a sense of peace and purpose. The orphanage is run by dedicated nuns, who provide the children with food, medical care, beds, toys, clothing, school supplies, and plenty of love and attention.
